Steve Jobs, NExT founder, dead, cancer, 57

Steve Jobs is dead. I remember when the first Apple computers came out. The revolution had begun.

Apple with Steve Jobs at the head, was revolutionary. Apple went after the educational market and have been there ever since. With a proprietary operating system their computers pioneered the music and graphics industry. They had some misses, NExT among them, but they always seemed to reinvent themselves. Steve Jobs was often the reason for that innovation.

Mom Sells Baby for 15k$, editor should be fired

While this story is quite disturbing, the fact that this article wasn't proof read, disturbs me more.

I think they are trying to tell us that...
"Wismer and Gavaghan are both charged with Dealing in Children and Conspiracy in the Second Degree."
...because they repeat it twice in the article.

I'm pretty sure Iris Phillips thought the baby should have "been given to her sister OR someone". But that doesn't really help either because SHE DID GIVE IT TO SOMEONE, she just collected 15k$ for it.

At this point you should be afraid...very afraid for the future of this country. We seem to be getting stupider and stupider and stupider.

A new mom is in hot water after selling her newborn son for $15,000 so she could take her other two sons on a trip to Disney World, according to court documents.
Bridget Wismer, 33, was arrested at her home in New Castle, Del. after she and the alleged baby buyer, John Gavaghan, 54, of Philadelphia, were caught on a surveillance camera taking care of the last bit of paperwork, according to New Castle County detectives.

Bears Do Not Make Good House Guests

Officials say a bear attacked a couple inside their central Pennsylvania home, sending both people to a hospital.

Pennsylvania Game Commission spokesman Jerry Feaser says the attack happened Monday morning in Oliver Township. He says the couple's dog was outside and ran into the home, followed by the bear.

Gee thanks Fido for bringing home the bear. This is why everyone should be required to own a gun.

U.S. - US Michigan Girl Kicks Winning Field Goal After Being Named Homecoming Queen

PINCKNEY, Mich. – A Michigan girl is wowing classmates on and off the field at her high school. Brianna Amat, the first female to play on Pinckney High School's varsity football team, kicked a 31-yard game-winning field goal on Friday and was crowned homecoming queen during the game, reports.

How awesome is that? That's a story you don't normally see. Good luck to you at Western Michigan.
