MADRID – Spanish regional government authorities say a man has beheaded a woman in a supermarket on the Spanish resort island of Tenerife in the Canary Islands.

A witness told broadcaster Cadena Ser that he saw the man drop a bloodstained woman's head on the pavement after coming out of the store.

This is a horribly violent crime. I had to mention the obvious reference to Highlander.
