HOLY CRAP!

The image looks totally photoshopped. I'll bet there is a retraction before too long. Most of the comments seem to think it is a photoshop and I'm inclined to believe them. Hello Snopes?
The only reference to the sink hole is the caption.
May 31: A giant sinkhole covers a street intersection in downtown Guatemala City.
Do they seriously not have anyone on the ground in the largest Guatamalan city that can verify the hole? What kind of a news organization is Fox News?

GUATEMALA CITY (AP) — Flooding and landslides from the season's first tropical storm have killed at least 150 people and made thousands homeless in Central America, officials said.
Dozens of people were missing and emergency crews struggled to reach isolated communities cut off by washed-out roads and collapsed bridges caused by Tropical Storm Agatha.
The sun emerged Monday in hardest-hit Guatemala, where officials reported 123 dead and at least 90 missing. In the department of Chimaltenango — a province west of Guatemala City — landslides buried dozens of rural Indian communities and killed at least 60 people, Gov. Erick de Leon said.

It must be real. CNN has a shot of it from ground level.

Not what you were thinking: Air Force pounds MILF lairs with rockets

MANILA, Philippines - Air Force attack planes pounded yesterday the position of Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) rebels in Guindulungan, Maguindanao, as fighting between government troops and guerrillas entered its fourth day, a military spokesman reported.

Lt. Col. Jonathan Ponce, spokesman for the Army’s 6th Infantry Division, said SF 21 Marchetti planes conducted two bombing runs between 11 a.m. and 12 noon.

He said that scores of MILF rebels are believed dead because of the accuracy of the rockets fired from the Air Force planes.

MILF rebels? There needs to be a men's pulp magazine by that name or something. In any event it seems the Air Force punished the MILF rebels with their missiles. That picture is not at all what I was thinking...
