Squirrel roughs up Iraq veteran in park

Frank Garren is tough guy. The 6-foot, 4-inch former Army sergeant was awarded a Purple Heart after surviving a roadside bomb while deployed in Iraq in 2004. He knows about combat and quick reactions.
“You might expect a mugging in the park, but not to be attacked by a tree rodent,” the 34-year-old Springfield resident said Monday. “I never thought a squirrel could kick my ass.”
The couple said his girlfriend, Amy Stone was “rolling on the ground laughing” until she realized Garren was bleeding.
Let me guess, "it had sharp pointy teeth?"
If your girlfriend is rolling on the ground laughing at you after you get attacked by a squirrel, marry her, it doesn't get any better than that.
Let me quickly look for stories of Marines getting pwned by tree rodents....nope not a one.
Okay, okay, nothing to see here, move on.

Thanks for your service. You know that is a tongue in cheek, good natured ribbing toward the Army boys. I have nothing but respect for all our nation's service and men and women.
And I forgot to add...
Thanks for reading.

Oh yeah I know that...Been giving the Marines hell for years. You have a good blog, I tried my hand at this but lost my interest. I spend most of my time trying to keep the VA straight about my benefits. BTW have a father and several other jarheads in the family. Semper Fi brother.
